We are an independent travel agency registered in Uganda and England. Msafiri Tours was established in 2008, but we have been planning and leading trips to Africa for the last 8 years. We specialise in tailor made ethical trips, including volunteer trips, elective medical placements school and student’s trips and ethical wild life
So what’s our role? A teacher at your child’s school will have approach
ed us to get advice on arranging a student tour to Africa. Some teachers come to us with an exact plan of what they want to do, others come only with an idea and we help build those ideas into a trip.
We have first hand knowledge of arranging student trips and expeditions to Uganda and Kenya; we work with teachers to design an inclusive, fun, practical, educational travel experience to Africa. Msafiri supports the teachers and schools throughout the build up to the trips to a chosen country, ensuring that all the necessary preparations an attention to minute details, risk assessments, operation checks and documentation is complete.
We arrange true educational Expeditions – school trips and expeditions that go well beyond the average safari, giving students to see the real Africa, meet people, work with them, eat with them, hear their stories, and see the culture and the wild life. We will expose the young people to different cultures in Uganda or Kenya, physically challenge them, and give them unique experiences to challenging their expectations and view of the world.
