Denis Kigongo Victor: Denis  is no stranger to planning and leading trips to Africa. Born and raised in Uganda, He trained as a teacher and then as a Youth worker in the UK. With a passion for social justice and tourism and anything that nature offers. He started the company specially for people who wanted to help development in Africa through travel and tourism.

Denis brings a wealth of local knowledge to planning your perfect Africa trip. Because of his many years living and working in Europe, he understands people from  both cultures and knows how to find the best suited product for every individual taste. Denis is instrumental in the continued growth of Msafiri Tours – He always wanted to create a community tourism company which puts the client first, that understood individual needs and created tailor made itineraries that literally made dreams come true for the visitor and the local people in Africa. It is this passion and drive that has pushed Msafiri Tours to the fore front of  Uganda’s Ethical travel industry.

 

Barbara Kimera: Barbara leads the management team of Msafiri tours. With a degree from Makerere University, she is also a well known award winning journalist and broadcaster in Uganda. She brings a great sense of attention to detail to the way we work and always serves with a  smile on her face. We are very proud to have her as part of our team.

From accommodation, transportation logistics, programming, and many other intricate details of your trip Barbara has got you covered, right from the moment you make the initial contact with Msafiri tours to when you are dropped off at the airport for your trip home.  Barbara has extensive knowledge of Msafiri Tours operations.  She leads a team of men and women that combine a variety of talents with many years of experience in the field.
